Overview

A 4th generation family owned company established in 1945, Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots.  We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Security Supervisor.  This position will work under the direction of the Manager, Corporate Security in executing security programs and performing day-to-day supervisory duties over security personnel and operations in order to protect Company products, associates, key individuals, data, and assets at assigned facilities. This position has a residential requirement to live in the Bells, TN area.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise security officers to ensure proper execution of security protocols and procedures.
2. Schedule security officer and contract security to ensure coverage.
3. Coordinating security and protection, including guard services, on Company properties.
4. Conducting regular inspections and patrols of Company properties to identify security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
5. Assisting in the implementation of security programs designed to safeguard Company products, associates, executives, proprietary data, and assets.
6. Responding to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms at assigned facilities and coordinating appropriate responses.
7. Conducting preliminary investigations of security breaches, thefts, accidents, and other incidents as directed by the Manager, Corporate Security.
8. Assisting in the coordination of guard services and ensuring adequate security coverage at all assigned locations.
9. Participating in security audits and assessments of Company-owned and/or operated properties.
10. Training and developing security personnel on Company policies, procedures, emergency response protocols, and industry best practices.
11. Maintaining detailed logs, reports, and documentation of security activities, incidents, and personnel performance.
12. Serving as a point of contact with local law enforcement when incidents occur at assigned facilities.
13. Ensuring security personnel maintain professional standards and adherence to Company policies and procedures.
14. Supporting the protection of farms, farming equipment, and products.
15. Assist in identifying and implementing efficient ways to minimize potentially harmful events and other crises.
16. Must have and maintain a safe driving record.
17. Drive and provide executive protection when needed.
18. Performing all other duties appropriate to the position as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE


• The ideal candidate will have a successful background in law enforcement, military, or corporate security with demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Executive protection experience preferred.

 

EDUCATION

 

• Four-year degree preferred, but extensive experience may be substituted.
• Graduate of a P.O.S.T. certified Law Enforcement Academy

 

SPECIAL SKILLS

 

• A proactive attitude with regard to security and protection is required.

 

Physical Environmental Factors:

 

• Individual will be in a variety of settings, including but not limited to, patrol cars, foot patrol, office buildings, manufacturing plants, farms, and other properties owned and/or operated by the Company.
• Travel may be required.
• Individual must be available twenty-four (24) hours a day.
