Overview

The Recruiter will collaborate with managers to anticipate and meet the needs of the Pictsweet Company and deliver the best talent to the organization.  The associate will utilize tools to source qualified candidates, and nurture relationships with prospective talent.  The recruiter will also manage the interview process, coordinate job offers, and initial onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Administrate full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals. Create and implement strategies to attract active and passive job seekers.
  • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate assessment tools.
  • Develop strong relationships and collaborate with hiring manager, business leaders and HR to maximize effectiveness and timeliness of recruiting process.
  • Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross-functional projects including updating job descriptions.
  • Administrates the recruiting activities of the company to employ external salaried positions (professionals, technicians, and support staff).
  • Coordinates and attends college career fairs and other campus events with the objective of hiring and building the Pictsweet employment brand among college students.
  • Pre-screens applicants and gathers information regarding education, experience, training, job skills, and salary requirements. This may include a pre-screen phone call or visit, to determine fit to need. Schedules candidate travel, appointments for interview panels. 
  • Coordinates candidate offer information (salary recommendation, interview team feedback, psychological assessment, etc.). Makes verbal offers, authors offer letters, determines employment dates and onboarding activities.  Manages background and reference verification and drug screen process through third party vendor.  Contacts internal resources for office, computer and building access.
  • Point of contact for onboarding and scheduling appointments. 
  • Other HR related duties as assigned by the Human Resources VP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Prefer three years plus staffing/recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff
  • Excellent inter-personal communication and interviewing skills
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms and other candidate sourcing technology
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
